Teaching Assistant: Writing Center

From January to December 2021, I worked at the Writing Center (Centro de Español) at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. The center supports the development of communication skills across the university community. I conducted individual tutoring sessions on reading, writing, oral communication, and critical thinking, tailoring each session to students’ needs. I also served as a teaching assistant for Dr. Valeriano López Segura’s course on the ethics of research in genetics, where I provided feedback on written assignments addressing ethical issues in the medical field.
